A Troubleshooting Guide to Help You Out with Disabled Facebook Account

  • Violating Facebook’s terms and conditions, misrepresenting someone on social media, or posting inappropriate things are some of the reasons that can get your Facebook account disabled.
  • Your Facebook account can get temporarily or permanently disabled depending on the severity of the violation you have done.
  • You cannot recover a permanently disabled Facebook account no matter how many efforts you make; however, a temporarily disabled FB account has the chance of recovery.

Over the years, Facebook has gone crazy in terms of user base; with 2.80 billion monthly active users, it is one of the leading social media platforms that is currently ruling the internet. However, the drawback is that due to such a huge user base, it is not possible for Facebook (even with a staff of approx. 60,000 people) to personally cater to the needs of the users. So, do not expect Facebook customer support to intervene to help you out with technical glitches with your Facebook account. The good news is Facebook help pages are quite enough to obtain the required information about several issues such as if you can’t log in to Facebook or how to log out of Facebook Messenger and so on.

However, sometimes you may find yourself stuck dealing with a disabled Facebook account.

Facebook can disable your account for various reasons and it can be quite difficult to find out what will take you out of the troublesome situation.

Let’s first learn more about disabled Facebook accounts.

Why Facebook Might Have Disabled Your Account?

Facebook has set up some rules and regulations and terms and conditions that have to be followed if you are a user of the platform. Moreover, not following the rules can have several consequences both minor and major, that can ultimately result in a locked Facebook profile, a suspended FB account, or a disabled Facebook account that we are already discussing here.

If you have:

  1. Violated Facebook Terms and Conditions even after warnings
  2. The pictures or posts that you have made on FB are inappropriate.
  3. Created a fake account i.e. your profile represents someone else.
  4. Spammed someone’s inbox with unwanted messages; this can get you in FB Jail as well as your account disabled.
  5. Entered the wrong password several times, this can also get your Facebook account locked.
  6. Joined a huge number of Facebook groups
  7. Violated Facebook’s Community Standards

All these unethical things can get you in trouble.

Can You Recover a Disabled Facebook Account?

This is the most frequently asked question and the answer is Yes. But there are exceptions. A temporarily disabled Facebook account can be recovered easily; however there are NO ways to recover an account that is permanently disabled by Facebook, here’s why;
